Raquel Queirós, a Staff Researcher at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, spearheads the Water Quality Group's nanotechnology-based sensing advancements. Her research focuses on monitoring water contaminants across environmental, industrial, and health contexts.
Driven by commitment, she leads European and National projects, collaborating with water utilities, chemical, and automotive industries. With over 50 communications, around 29 peer-reviewed papers, 3 book chapters, and 1 patent, Raquel significantly contributes to sensor technology, ensuring progress toward safer and cleaner water.
