Markus Dächert is the Executive Director of the Water and Sanitation Division at GOPA Tech GmbH, part of the GOPA Consulting Group in Frankfurt. A civil engineer with over three decades of international experience, he has managed large-scale water and environmental projects funded by global institutions.

Markus has led initiatives across multiple regions, including the RANC-EE Project in Costa Rica, improving energy efficiency and reducing non-revenue water. His leadership continues to advance sustainable and efficient utility solutions worldwide.
