Eric Hewitson is the business development manager at Lacuna Space, a pioneer in satellite-enabled LoRaWAN® connectivity for remote and hard-to-reach areas where traditional networks fall short. He focuses on expanding access to low-power, long-range IoT solutions across critical sectors.

Eric also serves as chair of the Smart Industry Work Group at the LoRa Alliance® and is the founder of SatelliteIoT.space, a platform promoting innovation in satellite IoT. His work supports applications in water management, agriculture, energy, and environmental monitoring.
