Edward Barnes is the Director of Control Flow Technologies Group and Managing Director of Magna Consulting. With over 20 years of experience working with water utilities, regulators, and delivery partners across the UK and Europe, he specialises in customer-side demand reduction, water efficiency, and water neutrality.

Edward has led and advised on numerous large-scale retrofit and demand management programmes, supporting utilities in delivering measurable savings through practical, low-disruption interventions and scalable delivery models aligned with regulatory and sustainability objectives.
